Well Rosco recieved his HRCH this last weekend, A little bit about Rosco, When he was 3 months I wanted to take him pheasant hunting i just couldnt wait..... That next day he jumped in stickers, cactus, foot shut in the truck door and heard the gunshot, and he was gunshy for the next 2 years, I was really bummed. That is one of the reasons i started really looking into how to train a dog, I didnt want this to happen again, He was FF when he was 3 years old.
So it is never to late to start and never never give up on your dog........

Snakey Jake recieved a pass in finished  with a land series that was tough for most dogs, Grass was 3 to 4 feet all around us and the dog could not see the falls just the ark in the air, Jake pinned all 3 marks and almost lined the blind, when he was coming back from the blind evereybody clapped , It was special because i new he had it in him, He just had to let it out, Here are a few pics.

Man, you just gave me alot to think about with my dog Gauge who got a really late start. I have given up on him, but am and have been for some time rethinking it-especially looking at what his offspring have acomplished. Thats Awsome, congrats, and be proud. It is alot of work with those older dogs.

Congrats! That's a really big accomplishment especially since he started off gunshy. My previous dog was gunshy and that made the 4th of July was H3ll.

Kev, Great story... good for you and the dog(s). I've heard HRC is a ton of fun and really want to get into it this next year. By the way, you may be the first guy to show me how to pull off the camo polo w/ reebok's... nice move, nice swim. Martin

The Reboks had to be put on, my boots were way to wet to wear after the swim,

You know the dedication part i think is what ever you prioritize in your life. I use to fish every weekend now my boat sits, I use to ride a Harley, sold it. I enjoy the time with my dogs I enjoy learning from them, and get excited when they catch on what i am trying to teach them, and when it all comes together at a test and the dog runs on autopilot, and slams the test it gives me goosebumps.

I never thought I would be able to train a dog to finshed or MH , it looked so far away and from were my dogs were but in reality it is not that big of jump, a good friend and trainer told me last year all the dogs need is the tools to get there, once they have the tools the puzzle fills in quick.
Also there was some other PL people at the test running in started and some real nice ones in seasoned, I know one in seasoned has come along way with his dog since running in CP a year ago, I hope he posts some pics of him and his dog!!!!!
Thanks guys.
