The Okobigi Mosquitoes are hybreds of the Iowa/Minn varieties, not quite as nasty as MInn, but close.

Beamer will be running MPR both days. Haven't ddecided on Gabby yet, I may send her with a friend to finsh Qing for the NAHRA national invitational, if her blinds continue to improve. If not, she may run APR depending on the weather outlook....

I will be there running some dogs in Certified and Master.  May run one of my certified dogs in advanced the second day or just wait for master in the fall.  She's not quite steady to wing and shot for the master.

Should be a good time.

I start my trip out from New Jersey next Wednesday morning. I'm driving through MN to pick up my cousin and then heading to Iowa Friday night. We're going to run MPR both days and we have high hopes.

I can't wait to get out there and to watch all those big dogs roll!!!

See you in a week.

David looks pretty good right now.  Marking good and running nice blinds.  Bird work looks pretty solid.  Abbey is improving but were still working through some things and don't have the finished package yet.  They both have a ton of talent just got to keep teaching, building, and polishing.

Its going to be a hot one boys and girls. Bring plenty of water for you and the hounds. Forecast right now is high of 86 both days.

There is a product called rehydrate for dogs that I have used before. It is electrolytes for dogs that can be put on the food or in the water. If you have some use it BEFORE headeing to Iowa, and after the day. Too many electrolytes during activity make things worse, 1-2 days before help build up a store..... I have used it in the past, and figure any little bit might help. Otherwise, keep em cool!

Good information Fritz. Jon and I will be in Iowa, if you want to bring that bird. Let me know and I will make sure I bring the tags for it. See you this weekend.

I have used rehydrate several times and really like it if I am pushing a dog really hard for a few days in a row.  I ussually give it with food that night and by morning there ready to rock.  Seem to bounce back faster.

Good luck to everybody, I will be rolling in fairly late to the grounds on Friday night, hope to have my bride and maybe my daughter with, but Beamer has bounced back better from last weekend's tests better then they have......
