This was posted in the original thread 1st. However, in light of Jeff's comments I thought it prudent to post it here as well.

The APLA # for Campbell's Bearpoint Lucky Dog on our certificate is #966, in the DB it is listed as #964. Please advise which # is correct and if you will need to reissue another certificate.

Here is an input from a recent HT Sec. The Data base is not ready for titles to be included. Right now from what I can tell the title either before or after the real name would be part of the same field. This makes the task difficult when doing the leg work of a test to find the dog. Later as the data base grows it will become riduculous! The name needs to be simply that-The original name. The data base then needs to have additional fiields for titles before and after the name similair to good dog info, That way we as workers can find the dog easily and the titles can be carried along as deemed necessary. At this point I would like to see ALL TITLES stripped from the dog name fields and certainly no more included until this aspect is fixed.

I agree with Steve The titles would better serve futor tests and those working to keep the records correct if the titles are set in a separate field.

Also, Maverick (Bearpoint's Top Gun) and Jack (Sam's Jumpin Jack Flash) need to have their links 'flip flopped'... when you click on Maverick's link, Jack's info page opens up and visa versa.

I also noticed that Sam's Jumpin Jack Flash is listed as having his APR title. He is currently a CPR (he's never been run in APR). Also, it appears that now Bearpoint's Top Gun and Amber's Gold Star's links are criss crossed...

Are updates and corrections to the database still being made?

If not, it seems like the hard work involved in collecting the initial data is going to go to waste if it is not maintained...

P.S. Amber's Gold Star is still yellow...not chocolate as listed.

I've been using the information in the databas a lot lately, doing research on particular dogs. I'm concerned at how accurate this information is.
