Porter is EIC clear and CNM Clear by parentage. PRA Clear by DNA testing. A tremendous pedigree, Porter's dam Trixie is one of the APLA's finest females, and his sire Bear needs little introduction. Porter is a true, driven athlete in the field coupled with a great desire to please. He has a tremendous nose and uses it well to demonstrate a stylish head and tail high, staunch, natural point on wild birds. Hard charging and confident in water with a great work ethic, he loves to play the game. Porter has a great personality, is non-vocal, and is a complete gentleman and laid-back companion in our home. Porter has demonstrated his natural talent and abilities by obtaining his 4XGMPR title passing a string of 7 of his last 8 tests. Porter achieved his AKC Master Hunter this summer with me as an amateur getting his last pass. Most importantly, Porter's first pups are showing great desire, nose, and intense point. His pups are hard-pointing, upland monsters. He is passing on his good looks and temperment. Porter's first offspring began running tests this fall, and the result has been one CP pup and one APR pup, with limited breedings. References available.
